Tod and Matt have had many discussions over the years on the subject of business philosophy, regularly veering off into debates on national politics, business ethics, firefighting tactics, religion, industrial design, and the relative merits of raising chickens vs. ducks. They don't always agree on everything in this list (Matt raises ducks, Tod chickens,) but they do agree on the work: what they make should be of the highest quality; the materials they use should be of regional origin; the finishes they use should be environmentally benign; their dealings with clients should be fair and friendly, interested and engaged.
